My office is notorious for call outs. There appears to be a virus going around in the office that has everyone sniffling, coughing, sneezing, etc. It’s almost inevitable that atleast one person will call out sick per day. Having Odor issues in your home? Basement? Kitchen? Though the meal was very tasty, what do you do with that damn odor?? I am of West Indian descent and boy do we love frying EVERYTHING. Fried Fish, Fried Plantains, JUST FRIED!!!!!!!!!

Tasty, finger licking good, BUT OH SOOOOO SMELLYYYYYYY! (Not always a bad smell, but who wants a house smelling like Fried Fish?)

Weak in the KNEES????

I have been feeling some serious knee pains for the past few months and quite honestly it HURTS!!!!!! I realize this happens everytime it gets really cold or there is an impending rainstorm. OKAY! So we all love our children, but must they touch everything in their path???? Their curiosity causes them to explore every disgusting thing possible. That is why is it soo important that we help protect them from contracting any forms of diseases. I am sooooooo addicted to this SUBWAY sandwich! It is sooo tasty. I am not a fan of the sauce being that it tends to make it really mushy. Nevertheless, I am in love. What makes it even more attractive to me is the fact that it is only 24grams of fat….WOW!!!!!!!! Try it with Provolone cheese and some sweet peppers and let me know how it taste.

PANNINI Anyone?

Now this is a delicacy that I have come to truly love. For those of you who have absolutely no idea what a Pannini is, a Panini, which means “sandwich” in Italian refers to a hot, pressed sandwich. You can get this all over the New York City Area at PAX, Liberty Deli, Cafe Metro, etc. They come in a variety. Choose from the Eggplant Pannini or my favorite Pannini “Chicken Vera Cruz” currently offered at PAX Wholesome Foods.

Salad Extravaganza

Why not a salad?

I have been experimenting with the salad for lunch notion and have found it to be very filling. My favorite salad spot hands down would have to be PAX. Their greens are always fresh and they have a number of really cool toppings such as: Avocados, chicken(grilled or fried), cherry tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, feta cheese, three cheese, mozarella, cucumbers, etc. They also offer a number of great dressings. My favorite will have to be: RANCH!

Now go easy on the dressing! I too find myself asking for extra dressing. That dressing has tons of calories so be wise!!!!
